I couldn't complete the Bucks County memoir without just a few more pictures of old friends and family.
Bob
and Jean Goldberg had us all over for dinner at their house (one of those
newer but still beautiful places near Buckingham, in a wooded portion of Central
Bucks County). For dinner we had salmon that Dave (seated right rear) caught
in Alaska.
Another
visit I made one day was with a Pati Doyle-Weber, who I dated in high school.
Except for one brief visit while I was passing through New York in the early
80's, I had not seen her since 1970. Just another one of those interesting
connections I've mde on this trip, that I wouldn't have been able to make
otherwise.
Pati has had an interesting life. After many years of doing international business in the fashion industry, she married Dr Weber, settled down and had a son. She's pretty much loving it.
OK - this is a synopsis of almost 3 weeks staying in Bucks County. I'm moving on and I'll be getting back to more regular journal entries soon.
